Our Wisbech site in Cambridgeshire is a vital part of Princes’ UK manufacturing footprint—producing a wide range of canned and pouch products including baked beans, soups, pulses, pasta, vegetables, and sauces. It plays a key role in supporting British agriculture, sourcing many locally grown ingredients to deliver quality and consistency across both Princes and customer own-brand ranges. 

Together with Long Sutton, Wisbech produces over one billion cans annually. Recent investment in renewable energy has seen the installation of over 1,200 rooftop solar panels at our adjacent distribution centre, now generating more than 30% of the site’s electricity needs. This innovation supports our sustainability goals—cutting carbon emissions by over 135 tonnes a year and saving more than £1.2 million in energy costs over the next decade.
