Who Are Princes

Princes History

From Liverpool’s docks to Europe’s dinner tables, Princes has been proudly feeding families since 1880. What began as a humble canned fish business has grown into one of the UK’s most trusted food and drink groups, with a portfolio of household brands and a reputation for quality that spans generations. Our roots run deep — and so does our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and helping people eat well without costing the earth.

Now, as part of the NewPrinces Group, we’re entering a bold new chapter. Following our acquisition in 2024, Princes joins a dynamic European network of over 30 brands and 23 production sites across six countries. Together, we’re doubling our product categories, expanding our reach, and building a future where great food is accessible, responsibly sourced, and made with care.
