Wednesday 1st July 2026 – Princes Group has today appointed Giuseppe Mastrolia as Interim Chief Executive Officer.

The transition comes as Simon Harrison departs the business following a successful five-year tenure with Princes Group, including the last two years as Chief Executive Officer.

Giuseppe Mastrolia brings more than a decade of executive leadership experience the role, having served as Chief Executive Officer at NewPrinces for nine years before joining Princes Group in July 2024 as an Executive Board Director. Since Autumn 2025, he has been based in Liverpool and has served as Chief Commercial Officer of Princes Group, playing a key role in the development and execution of the company’s commercial strategy.

Throughout his career, Giuseppe has held a number of senior leadership positions across the Group, building extensive experience in commercial strategy, business development, operations, procurement and M&A. Having worked closely with the Princes leadership team over the past two years, he brings a deep understanding of the business, its customers and its long-term strategic priorities.

Giuseppe’s appointment ensures continuity as Princes continues to execute its long-term strategy, with a focus on operational excellence, commercial growth, investment in its brands and manufacturing footprint, and creating sustainable long-term value for shareholders.

Giuseppe Mastrolia, Interim CEO of Princes Group, said:

“It is a privilege to lead Princes Group at such an exciting stage in our journey. We have built an exceptional platform for growth, with fantastic brands, world-class manufacturing capabilities and talented people across the Group. My priority is to build on that momentum by executing with pace, maintaining a relentless focus on our customers and delivering sustainable long-term value for our shareholders.”

“As we continue to bring our businesses together, we will focus on turning our scale into leadership. That means working as one Group, simplifying the way we operate, making decisions faster and challenging every cost without ever compromising on quality. Above all, we will remain committed to doing what we say we will do – for our customers, our partners, our colleagues and our shareholders.”

“Princes has earned the trust of customers for more than 140 years, and I am incredibly proud to lead the business into its next chapter. Together, we have the people, the capabilities and the ambition to accelerate our growth and build an even stronger Princes for the future.”
